Bonnie Raitt~Nick Of Time. A beautiful redhead who plays a mean slide and belt's it out with the best of 'em. Can it get any better than this?

Have you heard her playing with Lowell George. That was trip. One that I like even better though is her duet with John Lee Hooker singing "I'm in the Mood."

Bob, if you like slide guitar, you've got to like Ry Cooder, right?
I've heard two different stories about his role in the slide guitar playing on "Sister Morphine" from "Let it Bleed." One is that he is the one playing on the album, and the other is that Keith Richard learned the licks from him. In any event, that is a haunting song from an incredible album.
Regards,
D-Ray

thanks Don- oh yeah love the blues and slide- Ry Cooder is one of the greats! One of these days I'm going to grow up and get me a midlife crisis. . Patty popped for a Guld D4 acoustic many moons ago but I need a Strat and an amp.
I've been playing for most of my adult life. Much as I love my acoustic the time needed to keep my left hand up to par as to play for more than a half hour at a stretch is eluding me. I hate friggin' cramps between the thumb and index fingers. thanks again for that fileshare link, buddy.
