Whatever happened before this, IMHO, becomes less relevant. If the witness is correct (and I have to think the jury thought he was), this is a pretty savage form of attack. If someone had me pinned like this and beating on me, I'd be concerned about whether I might survive the night.

Why didn't this witness see the shooting?

If Martin was on top, which I suspect he was, it changes nothing. Do you think if Trayvon had lived he would not have testified that he was in fear and stood his ground? Zim killed that testimony.

Anyone who has ever lived in an inner city knows damned well that this is not the case.

In fact, in my experience which spans decades, I have found Hispanics the most anti black demographic out there.

Same here in SoCal but then we don't have as many creepy assed crackers as Florida and several other states of the old Confederacy. Funny thing about hispanics is that they are usually pretty conservative except when they are being shit on.

and I'll tell you something else I know a lot about, peoples color is less likely to indicate their prejudices than is their self identification.

I know plenty of black Hispanics (not white nor mixed) who are just as biased as a white Hispanic live Zim.

And we have a reasonable idea of what caused this:

1. Zimmerman stalking a kid.
2. The kid being terrified.

Of course, the kid can't tell us that because a (typical) gun toting pussy murdered him.

I don't know Zeke.

I am no neighborhood watch guy or anything but I do know that if I were Zim that night and for some reason Trayvon seemed out of place to me the probability is that I'd have acknowledged him with a wave and or smile.

I have done it many times just to point out to someone that I am there and watching.

It really is that simple.
