Here's an example of folks using the Bible for cruel purposes: For many years, they pointed to the scriptures as a justification for slavery. The could quote verses from the letters of Paul advising slaves to obey their masters and counseling masters on how to treat their slaves. Would any among us argue that it is the Christian thing to to permit one human being to own another?
Regards,
D-Ray

2. Bob says I'm not very Christian thinking that way.
3. I provide multiple examples that Christian teaching emphasizes each individual pulling their own weight.
4. I'm informed that anyone's viewpoint can be reinforced by some Bible passage.
5. I challenge that assertion. My challenge goes unanswered.
6. The ridiculous claim is made that interpretations of Bible passages are copyrighted.
7. Dave proves he's not paying attention when he says "so what?" that redistribution isn't in the Bible (see #4 & 5 above). Then goes on a tirade of how evil I am for being realistic.
If one of the administrators wants to move this to the religion area, I'm sure they'll do that. If anyone is interested in bringing the thread back to it's intended subject, I'm sure it will happen.

Didn't get it from Bible.org
Besides, there's something called "fair use". Maybe one of the lawyers on here could explain it to you.
And, as you said, nobody really cares, except you, as you lost the argument and needed to change the subject.

Do you not have the little page numbers on your screen Bob? You can go and review, it's not copyright infringement to look again.
