one other crazy idea,
anex Mexico as the next state of the union. Think of all the cheap labor force, the oprtunities for development, and the resources we would get. It would be a heck of an economy stimulator too.
Too bad it can't happen.

it would eliminate 12 million illegals, an expensive boarder fence, lots of political bs, and give us access to some incredible vacation destinations.

Having been to both Mexico AND Texas, I kind of wonder if the Mexicans figured that keeping Texas wasn't worth the effort.
