Some take longer to come to the realization muck akin to arguing with a drunk or a three year old.

Is arguing with those willingly in a cult.

Some people will disagree in good faith, and will engage honestly. These are people worth talking too.

Some people can't do that. They are a waste of time and effort. And some capable people engage with dishonesty and bad intent. Interaction with them is never productive, and can actually be harmful to yourself or others.
