Police power is part of the plan. People will be angry as oligarchical economic power grinds them harder and harder, so there will be more need for police to contain the reaction. Read about the economic mastermind behind the transformation back to feudalism here: https://www.ineteconomics.org/perspe...ver-of-america

by the weekend her misdemeanor drug possession and misdemeanor DWI will morph into a hardened drug user driving under the influence wielding a gun.

Sergeant Andy Bell with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the investigation is ongoing, "Our investigators are going to be examining that vehicle as soon as they can get a warrant approved through the courts in Pettis County. Just to have an opportunity to search for any kind of weapon based on that additional statement about her making the threat that she was going to shoot the deputy, and what kind of threat that was, and what kind of physical evidence would support that threat."

"The Missouri State Highway Patrol said she had a gun and threatened to shoot the deputy." Does this fall under the usual "their first reply is a lie"?

Inside The Dangerous Online Fever Swamps Of American Police

Cops have a far-right media ecosystem of their own, where they post racist memes, spread disinformation and call for violence against antifa.

That's probably where the increased violence against protesters and journalists stems from. The police unions that shield bad cops are probably maintaining that the protests are against all cops.

I don't think you know much about cops. I'm not a fan, myself, but at least I understand where the violence stems from. I've known quite a few cops and, love 'em or hate 'em, they have some valid grievences against the press and judges that let serious criminals back on the street all the time.

Especially in "bad" neighborhoods.

This is why I would never aspire to be a cop. I can only watch so much injustice under my watch before I simply have to do something about it. And That would get me fired or in prison. I don't have the temperament for it. And, truth be told, most of those that sit in judgement of police action without "walking a mile in their shoes" probably don't have the temperament for it either.

Sheriff's office employee among 3 men accused of vandalizing Black Lives Matter sign
"I'm deeply disappointed that one of our employees involved himself in this type of illegal activity, especially when this is an infringement on someone's First Amendment right to freedom of speech," Sheriff Bill Ayub said.

Classic ad hominem in your last sentence. Sure is funny that you regularly employ that which you decry.
