Hate is passed down through generations. Fortunately, so is tolerance.

I think the militia factor is more widespread than the former Confederacy's borders.
The Southern Bubbas are defending their heritage. The heritage of being suckered into fighting the planter's war. And they're still being played for suckers to this day.

Good question.
What sort of asshole defends a bunch of losers who fought to preserve one of the worst examples of Plutocratic tyranny in human history? A bunch of poor people who signed up to protect the right of rich bastards to own poor people and treat them like property?
Oh, that's right we still have morons today who think rich businessmen were chosen by "God" to lord over us. They're "favored"........Yeah, right. Says them.

Could this be the Altamont of the white power movement?

Let it be the Altamont of Trump!
The White House, as fingers sense the wind, will debate a tardy and half-hearted denunciation of the alt-right. Will Trump do it?

How so? For example, who represents the WPM at Altamont?

It seems you don't understand analogies.

Altamont marked the end of the part of the youth movement that began at Woodstock.[1] Are you trying to say that the WPM is the youth movement in this analogy?
I realize that you're easily confused.

BTW, I'm not the one who supports this analogy because I'm not sure that Charlottesville will have any impact on the WPM. I don't think they're remotely disillusioned by what occurred in Charlottesville. David Duke seemed downright thrilled about it.
