I was there too. Pretty wierd scene with a bunch of crazed hippies (including me) in the Kennedy Center Opera House on plush red carpets under crystal chandeliers. The ushers were pretty busy that night telling folks to stub out their joints.

I spent memorial day weekend backing up half my CD collection (the best stuff) to my iMac. I ended up downloading over 2700 tunes.

I was surprised at some of the great stuff I had that I'd forgotten about....and embarrassed about other stuff....

Heh, heh, heh. It was a strange and beautiful place for zoned out hippie kid to see Deep Purple. That's for sure.
