Shanghai Lil never used the pill
She claimed that it just ain't natural
She took me up on deck and bit my neck
People I was glad I found her.

I have to be real careful playing this in the car.

I threw a big graduation party, class of '74 (big mistake) and that one was probably one of the most played tunes. I wonder how many kids were fathered that night and cases of poison oak in strange places were contracted. You couldn't walk into the woods without tripping over some couple getting it on under the trees. (Five acres in rural Maryland)

Oh well, I hope they remembered to name the kid after me.

I guess Stills is pretty deaf now. You can tell by the way he talks...and he put on a ton of weight too. We saw this BBC doc on Neil Young, all the old band members were interviewed...this would have been made back in '05 or '06 when Bush was still in office. The blonde remarked, "Yikes, what happened to him...he was such a dish!!!" Some of us age better than others I guess.

I suppose it might have a lot of meaning for any guy who actually got caught sneakin his personal Sally through the alley...or somewhere's else. Not that it ever happened to me, of course.

And...Allen Toussaint can create some music, can't he?
