Bernie's going to win.
The nomination and then the general election.
And the funny thing is that when he does all you doubters will be trying to rewrite your personal histories to say you knew it would happen all along.

Right...election is gonna look like 2014 election if she gets the nod.

I hope so...if Hillary cared about the country and her "legacy" the best move she could make would be to step down with a 100% endorsement to Sanders (or Warren if she'd take her place).

Lay off the psychedelics, TJ. For better or worse, Bernie has no chance. None. Zero. Nada.
And Hillary's chances are waning. What at one time seemed like a shoe-in for Hillary in the primary and even the general election looks shaky at the moment. The Dem's strategy of a coronation rather than a competition in the primary may well bite them in the ass and if it does, they'll deserve it.

I don't think anyone here is against a Bernie Sanders candidacy. But can he raise the money and garner attention with Hillary and her moneybags in the race? He is now gaining attention with his far left rhetoric, but that will not play in the general election.
BTW, you are speaking from both sides of your mouth. On the one hand you are supporting Bernie's candidacy yet anyone commenting negatively on HRC is fair game to you.

Agreed and I had been saying from the very beginning that she should not run. It is becoming much more obvious now. I am hoping that the email controversy forces her hand.

Did you hear his plan for ISIS? IF he seriously believes in it (and it sounds like he does when he speaks to Chuck Todd) then he is very naive. Trump is advocating imperialism (taking over Iraqi oil with troops) and wants to take care of wounded veterans, completely unaware more ground troops in Iraq will create new limbless soldiers.
Great businessman but very shallow intellectually, and that is not even examining the immorality behind his nativism.

And I'd say that there is at least a 1:3 chance that Trump will be the Republican nominee.

His rhetoric isn't "far left". It's left, of course, the same way that Sweden or Denmark is left, but I haven't heard Bernie say anything about nationalizing critical industries or collectivizing agricultural production.
This idea that Bernie is an extremist hurts his chances and is, more important, completely wrong. Bernie is where most Americans are on most issues and they'd realize it if they stopped listening to the media and start listening to him.
