Singapore is only a "country" on a technicality.

It has a land area approximately the same as Lexington Ky.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...cities_by_area

And it has a population density of 20,000 fuckers per square mile!

Sounds like a great place to live!

So if our economy is just as good or better than all those Eurocommie nations on that list how is it that we can't afford Universal Healthcare, but they can?

Can't carry a discussion about tax policy so you want to change the topic?

I'm sure the folks from Singapore would enjoy hearing your take on this.

What those taxes go for is a pretty damned important piece of the picture whell. It's a matter of priorities. You can a lot about a person by their priorities. For example my top priority of how my tax dollars should be spent is for Universal Health Care.

And yours is:

Gotta have economic growth before you have money to peel off of it to fund health care Tommy. So, economic growth should be the top priority to fund whatever you want: health care, social services, an evil military that conquers, rapes and pillages, whatever.

But you keep putting that cart before the horse, if you want.

So how does one accomplish this with a near non existant middle class without the economic power to buy the basics?
I know, more soaking the rich with tax cuts.
