I'm in the camp of feeling sorry for her kids. They did not choose this life in the fish bowl. Be hard for them to just disappear after all. Plus I figure that once the taste of the big city and fame any thought of a quite life evaporated.

I have little respect for Sara and figure she will do and say anything to generate headlines. The more outrageous the better. How else will she get speaking engagements?

I find it strange funny that she appears to get more play from the left

Given the nature of some of the many self-appointed spokespersons on the Right, Conservatives should be concerned how those not on board with their agenda percieve them and their agenda thru these characters.

Yeah, all you guys did was put her on the worldwide stage by nominating and voting for her to be Vice President of the most powerful country in the world.

We're the ones that made her famous.

In McCain's defense it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Unfortunately, it wasn't.

McCain wanted Lieberman, but the hard right would have none of that.

She was the most qualified woman the GOP could find. And she was a riot.

She may have seemed like a good idea to a desperate candidate who didn't take the time to properly vet her. It became clear pretty quickly (to all but the 'Baggers) that she was a total ditz.

It was seen as blatant attempt at tokenism by the party who has a huge paternalistic streak when it comes to issues near and dear to a constituency who votes Democratic. Women.

At least she did not do the smart thing. Go back to AK, shut her mouth, run the state quietly, then run for President in 2016. We can thank her for that much I guess.
