OK, I'll quote myself, now that it is a matter of public record. We won; the plaintiffs tried the case on a theory that was just flat wrong, and the jury agreed. So my response to their motion for a new trial was that, "This case does not belong under the theory of constructive discharge any more than an elephant belongs in a pair of leotards."

Had fun writing that brief.

Regards,

D-Ray

You don't have to call it God or Jesus. That's religious humbug to a lot of people, but you've gotta believe that nature and spiritual things surround us. That is what put us here! I thank the universe for that every day of my life.

"All too many of those who live in affluent America ignore those who exist in poor America; in doing so, the affluent Americans will eventually have to face themselves with the question that (Adolph) Eichman chose to ignore: How responsible am I for the well-being of my fellows?"

"The profit motive, when it is the sole basis of an economic system, encourages a cutthroat competition and selfish ambition that inspires men to be more concerned about making a living than making a life."
