Right, but when you engage an innocent person and they kick the shit out of you, you have no right to shoot them, get a stick, get your friends....but it's against the law to shoot someone cuz they got the better of ya...especially when you went looking for the fight

I'm content to wait for a verdict and then make a one-sentence pithy comment at that point. In the meantime, we haven't even heard any testimony or seen evidence presented by the prosecution.

Havent been following this as close as you guys. Did the Martin kid actually commit a crime before the struggle took place? It would seems to me that Zimmerman was sort of stalking him playing wannabe cop, when he went too far got his ass kicked, drew the gun and shot Martin as he was fleeing from seeing the weapon. Am I missing something?

In Missouri, it's legal to shoot some sumbitch who's trying to kill you.

And it's also illegal to physically assault someone, unless in defense.

So I doubt it.
