Oh, Snap.

Saturday night was definitely yin and yang. Because of the rain delay of the football game, the series game was over before I switched to the football game. Pujols put down a game for the ages - three blasts. The price for seeing my Cards win in that fashion was a performance by the Sooners that was uglier than a Republican debate.

Think the Raiders are still thrilled about their trade for Palmer? The Raiders QBs threw two touchdown passes - both to Chiefs.

Regards,

D-Ray

I'm not willing to sell my soul, so I'll never be a Republican. If we had a viable labor party, the Democrats would have some competition for my allegiance.

As far as the coverage - I appreciate Joe Buck much more than I appreciate Tim McCarver, even though McCarver is a former Cardinal. I did enjoy the irony of Fox having to prominently feature Ms. Obama and Ms Biden in the opening game.

All kidding aside, what do the five stars indicate, and how do they appear?

I thought you may know, being the super mod and all.

Up top, next to 'search this thread'.

Some rooms even have a system of giving 'rep' to each other, positive and negative. I bet that would be a blast here!

If one has sincerely held beliefs in the free market and its alleged ability to lift all boats, that view is in no way immoral. My experiences in life and my observations have lead me to an entirely different conclusion. That belief system is entirely incompatible with the lock-step views espoused by today's Republican party. To abandon what I believe in for the current GOP dogma would cut me deeply enough to strike the soul.

It is a purely personal belief - but to suggest that I should be ashamed of my world view is to suggest that I abandon my core being.

I'm also not going to suggest that you have a foot in heaven, Painter. You need to hang around here and keep the boys on course.

Regards,

D-Ray
