Miss, feel free to use me as your whipping boy.
I can think of no better way to elevate one's self esteem that to disparage and insult others over trivial matters.

Word is he died begging and crying like a little girl. They should have kept him alive for at least a couple days. At least we got pictures and a body here, not like Osama. Far as I can prove, he's still kicking. What was the big hurry on getting rid of his body anyhow. Any other mad man gets at least a brain autopsy.

In the Osama case, we didn't want to get his supporters upset at us. It will be interesting to follow how the desparate fighters in Libya find harmony among their different, and in some cases mutually exclusive, ideas of a new government. Meanwhile Obama's getting busy on a new front in Uganda.

If he's half as successful as he was in Libya, the Right will go apoplectic as they lose their mantle of "The Party of National Security." Hell, I'm not sure there's a single one of their Presidential candidates who could find Uganda, Yemen, or Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan on a map.

always thought that was a stupid reason. Wasn't the war on terror( another moronic name) was cause they were upset at us anyway. Don't much think that it makes a difference how we killed him, they'd still be upset.
No, my thinking is that not showing it was the right and decent thing to do. Cept right and decent won't play well in the bible belt.

Not exactly. All Muslims (good and bad) would be upset with us if we didn't bury him within 24 hours IAW with their beliefs. We don't need or want to piss off those (few) Muslims who actually don't see us as evil. There was nothing to be gained by parading his body around.

"Right" always plays well in the Bible Belt. Decent, not so much.

Yup. But I'd strike the "(few)". I don't think a majority of the world's Muslims think we're evil. A whole ton of them, sure. But many more than few think we're okay. Probably a few in Lybia who don't think we're so bad right about now. Wonder if we can say the same in the countries W "liberated".

I have bad news for Republicans. Obama just announced his reelection campaign will be called "Operation Remember Dale Earnhardt". He just ensured he'll sweep the Southern states.

I'd like to strike it, but it unfortunately wouldn't reflect the truth on the ground in Muslim countries.
