I made it back and didn't even need to raise bail. The organizers upped the original expected turnout from 12,000 to 20,000. This was more than that. Lots more.

We seniors were indeed representing today. I spoke with one couple that came here all the way from Reno, NV. I just saw a report where the organizers said that there were 100,000 souls in attendance. It was literally a sea of people. Oh my poor tired feet.

This is all well and good, but I remember all the uproar in 2017 with the pussy hats and years before that the occupy Wall Street nonsense. Amounted to nothing.

Instead, what it's going to take is for a red congressional district somewhere in the USA to allow an anti-Trump Republican to successfully primary a MAGA incumbent. When that can happen, the a true turning point will have been reached.

^^There are no anti-Trump Republicans anymore or they are all in hiding afraid of retribution. If a dozen or so Republican Senators will speak up against Trump's wrecking of the American economy it may start the ball rolling, but even that may not be enough since the POTUS can veto any bill.
