Here is Kari at the Friday's GA rally:

Quote:
“If you want to get to President Trump, you’re going to have to go through me and you’re going to have to go through 75 million Americans just like me,” Lake told the GOP convention Friday to roaring cheers and a standing ovation. “Most of us are card-carrying members of the NRA,” the National Rifle Association gun lobby. “That’s not a threat, that’s a public service announcement.”
Poor Kari is pretty bad with math. The NRA has ~ 5 million members, which is a bit short of the 75 million Americans just like Ms Kari that she claims most of which are card-carrying NRA members.

Now that's a scary thought.

I think the only surefire way for this to work out well is for her to recuse herself.
All the more reason for the Jan 6 insurrection and the election interference indictments to drop ASAP.

I checked up on Aimee Cannon, nothing much in her background, ho hum education, just 12 years of total legal experience as clerk, private practice and then federal prosecutor from which DJT elevated her to a federal judgeship (she had the requisite 12 years of legal experience) by virtue of her being a Federalist Society member of course. Most probably has Trump's portrait tattooed on her back.

Trump Suggests He's Open to Taking Plea Deal.

Trump further predicted that he will not be convicted on the federal charges stemming from the documents case. He also stressed that he would not accept a plea deal unless he was presented one "where they pay me some damages."
Um, Donald that's not how it works. The defense offers a plea hoping the prosecution accepts. In any case I doubt it involves a payoff.

As far as "local experience" is concerned, the local 11th Circuit Court of Appeals has already corrected her sternly and directly related to her evidentiary restriction rulings on this case. Does that mean they would honor a DOJ request for involuntary recusal? Beats me. Does that mean the DOJ would decide not to move for involuntary recusal that they could lose and really piss her off? Beats me as well.

Too bad we have a legal system, not a justice system. Any justice anybody gets from this system is incidental.

Senate GOP leaders break with House on Trump indictment

Well...sort of. Outside of Romney and Murkowski, they have just gone silent as opposed to their seditionist Republican brethren over in the US House. Behind the scenes and off the record, apparently most Republican Senators see Trump as a massive long-term liability and don't want him as the nominee. But they probably still don't want to have to answer questions as to whether they think he should go to prison or not.

A huge majority of Democratic voters, up in the 90% level want him prosecuted to the full extent of the law...and violations of the Espionage Act are still subject to capital punishment sentencing. But the numbers of Republican voters who say the charges are bad and want them dropped are down in the mid 60 percent. So things have shifted a bit.

One more thing about Romney. As with Cheney and Kinzinger...Romey's Senate voting record has him supporting Trump at 80%. Not the 90%+ for Cheney and Kinzinger, but still...they're all racist Republican scum.

Miami officials are bracing is for a potential onslaught of protestors descending on their city and I am of the opinion, so what? The mayor is a Republican and we will see how well the Cuban population there likes a riot in their city. Trump is also planning a rally and if he is seen to be causing the riot, arrest the SOB. Lets see how DeFascist deals with it. Perhaps the blue states can send over some rioters to help out with the melee.
