I'm sorry for your loss. Seriously.
However, I had a family member die in an auto accident. I don't other people need to change their lives for my tragic loss. I'm not that narcissistic. My wife and brother almost died of the flu two years ago. If they had died it would have been tragic. But I'm not so narcissistic to think that the world needs to change because of my loss.
I'm sorry you are living in fear. I cared for my wife for the four weeks she was sick and I was never in fear because I know the Lord is in control and for me, as with the Apostle Paul, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
I just lost my father, btw, but he was 90. Nobody lives forever. He had a good life and if the brain tumor had not got him, something else probably would have. I'm 66 and am willing to go any time. I'm old, but I'm also very active and healthy. But then, so was my dad until 9 days before he died.
Again, I'm sorry you lost your sister in law. It is very hard, especially if they are young.
