The Chinese have really helped in introducing a lot of budget squeezed audio fans to tubes.

Lee Micheals - S/T

His rendition of Stormy Monday is among the best use of an organ I've heard in rock music. And I'm not referring to the use of an organ in the same sense as the DiVinyls.

Regards,

D-Ray

That's a great one. I love just about all the work of Edgar and Johnny. Edgar was a staple in the 8 Track in my 1969 Charger back in HS. I'd always play it when I was scaring the hell out of my passengers. Hey, that would go nice with the mighty Bluestreak.

Ever seen him in concert?

I did twice at "The Bacchanal" in San Diego, and three times here in Norfolk at "The Boathouse" back in the '80s.

Fan-friggin'-tastic!!!!!

Once in the SF Bay area. "The Bacchanal" I'm very familiar with because my roommate used to play there back in the 1980s. Later it was turned into a computer store. That was a fun place. I spent many a night in the band's dressing room doing all kinds of things. The last concert I saw there was John Kay. Did you ever go to The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach. Was, and still is, a nice venue. I saw The Hellecasters, Robben Ford, Paul Rodgers, Albert Lee and a bunch of others at that venue. Albert Lee was the fastest picking guitar player I've seen. You're sitting there thinking he can't get any faster and he just kicks it up a notch. Steve Lukather was with him and he had Steve bowing to him. That tends to happen a lot when he's on stage with other guitarists.
