Joyful and Triumphant, album of big orchestra and chorus arrangements of traditional carols. Dates back to 1963, we had it when I was a kid. Ran across a copy earlier this year. As of this morning it is a Christmas morning tradition.

Yep, the first time I saw them they blew the ears off of a crowd who came to see Steppenwolf at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md. John Kay just went through the motions after following Mountain.
