I've redone a few 9903's for folks now and gonna do my first 8802 very soon. Fun bringing these old Maggies to their full potential while using original iron....

Agree with dumping those old spongy resistors, Paul. It takes no appreciable time to replace 'em. Even my Magnavox 150 biamps were easy. Some like to think that the carbon comps are part of the sound, I guess? The few that I've checked had drifted in value, quite a bit.

I am not gonna mess with it....lol
I am thinking of getting a din to rca input cable and running it out of the Denon pre amp at the same time as the regular cables from the rca pre-outs....if that works I could bi-amp the Klipsch speakers. Run the 175 6v6 amp into the bass and the SEP 6BQ5s into the horns....
that is if the preamp would output both din and rca pre outs at the same time.
that would be awesome
