All the times Donald Trump has leaked classified information, including nuclear secrets
FBI’s Mar-a-Lago search is not the ex-president’s first alleged run-in with respect to confidential information

I wonder what his line is going to be when we see what the FBI seized? I wonder if he knows or thinks he knows who snitched? He complained that the FBI "tossed" Melania's closet.
Gotta throw suspicion off the CI you know

FBI agents who searched Trump's Mar-a-Lago home removed 11 sets of classified documents, including some marked as top secret and meant to be only available in special government facilities, according to documents reviewed by The Journal.

From those far left radicals at the National Review, lol.

Quote:
The FBI’s serving a search warrant on Donald Trump’s residence is not — in spite of everything being said about it — unprecedented. The FBI serves search warrants on homes all the time. Donald Trump is a former president, not a mystical sacrosanct being.

If we really believe, as we say we believe, that this is a republic, that nobody is above the law, that the presidency is just a temporary executive-branch office rather than a quasi-royal entitlement, then there is nothing all that remarkable about the FBI serving a warrant on a house in Florida. I myself do not find it especially difficult to believe that there exists reasonable cause for such a warrant. And if the feds have got it wrong, that wouldn’t be the first time. Those so-called conservatives who are publicly fantasizing about an FBI purge under the next Republican administration are engaged in a particularly stupid form of irresponsibility.
I wonder why our resident MAGAMorons are silent in this thread? Are they worried?

Trump takes more pains to hide his tax returns than classified info about nuclear weapons.

Trump allies say he declassified Mar-a-Lago documents. Experts say it's unclear whether that will hold up.
Legal experts say presidents have absolute authority to declassify documents, but it's not clear whether Trump ever took action to do so.

"As the facts stand now, his defense would be, ‘I declassified those documents. I am not therefore in possession of classified documents now,'” said Charles Stimson, a senior fellow with the conservative Heritage Foundation and a former federal prosecutor.

Others take a different view — including, it seems, the FBI, which executed a search warrant at Trump's Florida resort on Monday tied to classified information Trump allegedly took with him from the White House in January 2021. Trump lawyer Christina Bobb said Tuesday that the warrant left by agents indicated they were investigating possible violations of laws dealing with the handling of classified material and the Presidential Records Act.
Today's "conservatives". Such a bunch of f'ing clowns.

The warrant shows that he is also being investigated for gathering, transmitting or losing defense information 18 U.S. Code § 793 (the Espionage Act).

Also, if any of this material deals with nuclear weapons, the President alone does not have the authority to declassify it. The law requires the review and approval of the DOE.

A Manhattan state court judge on Friday declined to throw out a criminal case against Donald Trump’s family business and its longtime chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, clearing the way for a trial in the case scheduled for the fall.

They executed the Rosenbergs. That wasn't wartime, though they stretched the facts to say it was....
