I couldn't care less if it's true or not, so long as it damages this asshats career. I have come to love watching them get screwed, even when they don't really deserve it.

It could end up helping him, at least with the GOP, if this ends up looking like a politically motivated witch hunt. He may regain the sympathies of the 'Baggers after having lost them last time by showing a little heart on immigration.

Sadly, I believe you may be right. Maybe "God" will intervene with an aneurism or something?
