I'm gonna wait until more information comes out before having a final opinion on this story. Right now all kinds of speculation and innuendos or out and out lies to make a point.

As far I know the way he was captured have never been released or know for sure till now. I will not prejudge this soldier.

The admin says this was not a negotiation. I have to agree, one deserter for 5 loyal enemies is not much of a negotiation.

I keep hearing that Gee Dubya released over 500 detainees/POWs. How do you righties square that with this president releasing only 82? Sounds hypocritical to me.
