VA is working fine for me. Affordable universal basic health care for everyone is a worthy goal if the obstacles could be overcome.

I guess I did miss the smileys. Beg your pardon. I had just come up from the garage where I discovered that the battery in my Harley was toes up and I was not in a very good mood. What was supposed to be an evening of riding turned into me being stuck on the 'net with you guys!

What a whiner, We are the lightest taxed people of all industrialised nations so no wonder there is so little care for the citizenry. Couple that with the simple fact that there is a middleman every where we turn with his or her hand out it is no wonder things are the way they are. In all the dealings that I have had down here it has been that *&^%$ middleman doing the screwing.
Oh frozen one would you like some cheese to go with that whine?

Lots of us who served don't use the VA, never used the VA. If we preferred our employer based healthcare to the VA we used that. Now we have our Medicare or Medicare advantage and prefer it, we use that. When we were self employed, and bought our insurance, it cost almost a much to cover us both as one of us, so I used that. But I understand that a mutt who never had two nickels to rub together might not understand that somebody might want to pay for the serves they want rather than settle for the free serves that somebody else is paying for.

A new weasel milepost. I suspect you're lying as well. What you really are would be the buffalo bill of PC. Sitting down in the cellar in front of the 'muter with your pants off and one hand on each mouse.

So you just proved the point, that the government owned and run VA is at the bottom of your individual choice as a provider.

I fully understand, John. I wanted to do a bike ride this morning, but the garage still has my car and tells me it could be ready "...sometime between ten and two." So, here I sit, waiting for a phone call. And it was supposed to be done on Saturday.

This post right here stands as proof that government healthcare has long provided Americans with MORE choices, NOT less. Cut Medicare and you leave older folks with the choice of working until they die to self pay or........................NOTHING.
Doesn't look like much of a "choice" to me.

It sure is. And it may be at the top of somebody else's list. Somebody just as thoughtful about is as I am...somebody with considerably more brain power than you have.
Either way, it still has nothing to do with the ACA, you pathetic moron.
You about done calling those of us who chose to serve liars...eh ya stupid little weasel?
