I'm certainly receptive to the argument that Obama set the whole stage for the GOP overreaction to his contraceptive proposal.

seems like the GOP is buying into this hook line and sinker!
should make it an easy win for those of us on the left!

You are correct, my friend.
The GOP doesn't stand a chance this election cycle.

Just know today I was at a waiting room full of women when the story was covered. I heard a lot of whispered negative comments by them. I don't think Limbaugh is liked to much by the fairer sex!

I wonder what are the demographics of his audience. I'm just guessing large majority male and small percentage with higher education.

If I had to draw my conclusions from what I've read here at PC, most of his listeners are liberals.
Seriously, I've picked up more about what he has to say from the liberal crew here than I have from all of my VRWC buddies.
To tell the truth, I don't know how you fukkers can stand to listen to that shit!!!

Honestly, I don't listen. I suppose that means that I get what he says filtered through the mainstream media. But I don't believe that the mainstream media is liberal. Mainstream is just that - the generally accepted view of the world. I have seen enough samples of his insulting incendiary delivery to have very little regard for his character and his values.
But we can't really ignore him. He has a significant influence on what the Republican party advocates. I don't think their congressional leaders became cheerleaders for failure without a little coaching from behind the mike.
Regards,
D-Ray

Not to change the subject, but...
Sure they are, liberal, that is. When Bush was in the chair the media was all to happy to report/hammer him about price of gas/oil, all the stuff about his big oil buddies as why wasn't he doing more to reduce the price of gas, stories of all the people that were having to decide between buying food or gas.
Now, according to the President, he can't do anything about the price of oil/gas and surprise, just have to suck it up. The media seems just fine with that sort of answer now.

I quit tuning into Porky the Pundits show somewhere around 1996. And recent clips played on CNN confirmed my suspicion that he is still just an asshole blowhard.

Yeah, and back in the Bush days conservatives swore up and down that the president had little to no control over the price of gas.
So, I would have to say he still doesn't.
Works both ways, Dude.
