To his credit Pete does have a highly developed sense of humor.
(he's way funny)

I have only ever made money on my own, with hard work and sweat, nothing associated with that casino in lower Manhatten has ever done me any favours.

Hey, I've got friends!
Howdy Barbara. I can believe that rural and urban poor is way different, and even the area I lived in and visit isn't the absolutely most desparate areas in the country. They're pretty bad though.
I always worked. Most of the time lol.
Pete

By the way I'm no Marxist/ Leninst by any stretch of imagination. I do believe that corporate welfare along with deregulation are just a couple of the great evils perpetrated on society of late. Just look at the figures. Social welfare is a tiny pimple compared to the sheer volume of loot plundered from the Treasury by corporate Amerika. Almost every citizen paid far more taxes than GE just to name one!

I'm referring to Mrs. Obama not Bachmann. What do you suggest as a tax rate on corporations? What is a so-called fair share? How about removing all corporate taxes and just taxing the receivers of corporate profits? I think that would also necessitate eliminating corporate "personhood."

I am a bit surprised that Dave or Nancy has not chimed in, they can tell you about folks in poverty.

A fair share would definitely be more than zero or a negative number as a tax credit. For chrissakes, you are on a first name basis with the First Lady?
