I'm not going to play your game. My point was simple...reciprocity of tolerance, or lack thereof. I said nothing about not building an intercultral faith center (what ever that is) here, only implied that we wouldn't be afforded the same tolerance. That is all.

This is America. You're afforded many freedoms here not allowed other places in the world.

Actually, most militant of the Muslims would prefer to see the attempt at building the cultural center be blocked. They win twice that way. First they show the Great Satan US rejecting a mosque, and second, they see an opponent of theirs within Islam lose an opportunity to promote a more peaceful religion than the version they practice.

Hey Dave, lets find something to disagree about. This is getting boring.

There are no christian churches in Saudi Arabia
Saddam did allow christians in Iraq - Toraqu Aziz (sp?) is/was a christian (is he still alaive)
Christian churches in Egypt are not permitted any outward display of christian religious symbols.
etc.

Tariq Aziz is imprisoned at Camp Crocker. Some might call that living.
Another Christian is Hanan Ashrawi, the former chief spokesperson for the Palestinian delegation to the first Mideast Peace Talks.

Again, so what? These facts are only relevant if you're arguing that they disqualify Muslims - or some Muslims - from enjoying the religious freedom here that they deny Christians in their countries of origin.
We're supposed to be better than that.

The first amendment clearly says something about freedom of religion (as long as you're a fundamentalist Christian, of course). At least that's what Deacon Hannity seems to be saying.
