Kindness does not need justification. It's a basic.
You can of course set boundaries and not allow yourself to be taunted or abused. Disengage. But even if the person is not someone you 'need' to get along with, don't burn bridges. You never know when someone may want to cross a bridge, by and by, some time in the future. Its up to them, but it can happen.

It was entirely missing during the Orange buffoon’s cruel administration. Thankfully, it’s back. Thanks, Joe!

I remain of the opinion that we ought to send Trump and various officials to the Hague for trial for the family separation crimes.

The conservatives don't care if we're inhumane to brown people at our southern border. After all, we're protecting America from invaders, right?

Thanks DQ, I do appreciate your responses. As a long term business owner, don't burn bridges, especially with customers and employees is always front and center with me.
Back to issues with Walker:
Quote:
Duncan, the lieutenant governor of Georgia, has been all over the national media offering withering criticism of Walker. But Duncan has gone even further: He’s exposed the truly corrupt nature of the bargain with Trump that fellow Republicans made in nominating Walker.
“Unfortunately, Republicans looked around to see who Trump supported,” Duncan told CNN Thursday night, adding: “Now we’re paying the price.”
|
But in the end as any upstanding Repub is won't to do, he will eventually vote for Walker. So in effect, nothing has changed nor ever will.

Herschel Walker’s campaign fires its political director in key Georgia Senate race
https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/07/polit...georgia-senate
Quote:
The departure of Taylor Crowe, who previously held the same role on ex-GOP Sen. David Perdue’s failed bid for Georgia governor this year, comes just weeks before Election Day in the crucial Senate contest against Democratic incumbent Raphael Warnock. With an evenly split Senate, Republicans are hoping to flip the Georgia seat as they look to take control of the chamber.
Two people familiar with the matter said Crowe was fired after suspected leaking to members of the media. It is unclear if there were any other factors at play.

Pulled this off Twitter. It pretty much sums up Herschel's week.
Herschel's saga:
1. Abortion is murder.
2. I don’t even know that woman.
3. I didn’t do it, but if I did it’s OK.
4. OK, I know her because we have a child together but I still didn’t pay for abortion.
5. I have nothing to do with my kid with her, but I pay my child support on time.
This story is unfolding amusingly.
