Yes indeed, and the pain was way down and mobility of arms way up inside of two weeks. After she documented the improvement and remarked on it, I told the physical therapist what I thought was responsible. She said "I believe you though there are many who won't." Physician community is in many cases still in denial about how Atorvastatin toxicity can develop I guess.

I am most aggravated at the orthopedist who sent me for PT, and was wanting to do surgery. The Atorvastatin was on my med list the whole time.

My cholesterol numbers have not shot up or anything. Don't think I ever needed Atorvastatin, it was just 'routinely prescribed.'

I too have a negative view of Atorvastatin. My doc is a big fan. I still refuse to take it.

BTW I believe "routinely prescribed" is employed to provide some measure of cover in law suits.

Wishing Bob the best!

Thanks Dondi.

ps no Atorvastatin here though I am partial to a decent Lamb's Breath.

I would think one might consider Atorvastatin if one had a real problem with high cholesterol (which I never did). I took it for years before the troublesome effect showed up.

I'm on it for cholesterol control.

Talking the surgery over with my GP and it may be more involved than I'd anticipated. I may end up with a nice big scar to go along with the one on my back. Something about moving the muscle attachment if needed...

Fecking A.

Got my fingers, toes and eyes crossed, Barney. They just can't tell the extent of the damage until they slip a scope in there. Soft tissue, y'know.

Pushed off until the fifteenth because my GP is a fecking dipshit. My surgeon's scheduler has been trying to pry the lab results & EKG out of his office since last week to no avail. Now they claim a electrical outage is preventing them from faxing the results until tomorrow. Yeah, too little, way too late.

Dipshits must be contracting with Whell's employers.

>sigh< Time to find a new GP, I guess.

It is difficult to be calm. But try to be. Many doctors are leaving the profession. (117,000-2021)
