It's December Mike what did you expect? I can tell by my electric bill that the climate is warming despite momentary cold snaps. I am an all electric home so my heat pump tells me what the overall picture is.

Brown sees the temporary ascendancy of deniers in DC as potentially a long-term good, leading to a reductio-ad-absurdism in policy that ultimately increases acceptance of the truth of climate change. Vows that if LANDSAT and other satellites are turned-off, "California will launch it's own damn satellite!"

Well, whaddya know? Whell is again passing on fake news as real (while he calls real news fake). It seems that in Trumpworld, up is down and down is up.

The Weather Channel has a message for the website Breitbart:

"Earth Is Not Cooling, Climate Change Is Real and Please Stop Using Our Video to Mislead Americans"

That's the title under which The Weather Channel published an article on Tuesday, after Breitbart used the cable news channel's coverage in a factually incorrect story about climate change.

It will be interesting to see what influence Rex Tillerman has on the climate change debate (as Exxon believed in climate change, then chose to hide these beliefs for decades only to come out later and acknowledge climate change when their subterfuge was discovered).

It's December 17th and the temperature here in Mobile, Alabama at noon was a balmy 75 degrees. Up from a low this morning of 65. The normal high for this date is 63. The record high for this date was 78 in 2008. The record low was 25 in 1963.

Anybody see a pattern developing?
