No question that hey have certainly driven up hostility toward journalists. We have seen about 110 reporters criminally charged and over 300 have been assaulted for reporting on the pandemic or Black Lives Matter protests. When we muzzle reporters and threaten them for doing their jobs, we undermine the concept of freedom of speech. One of the core tenets of a thriving democracy. We can't permit that to happen!
There is the real danger...We can't permit that to happen!

That's funny, coming from Fucker Carlson's #1 fan.

At least we know Trump’s not serious about 2024

Many of us in the Never Trumper camp have argued that the Republican Party is not worth preserving after years of its leaders’ moral abdication, refusal to uphold their oaths and toleration of racism. What we did not bank on was that after corrupting the party, Trump would be the perfect means of destroying the GOP. In doing so, he might finally make a contribution to U.S. democracy.

If the Republican party would ever muster up the stones to abandon Herr tRump he would simply start his own party or act as an independant. Second in his world to wielding the power of the nation's top office is running for that position. It's a source of funds and attention that he's never had before.
"How you gonna keep him down on the farm..."
If he would do this a large percentage of Repub voters would leave the party to follow him. Of course if he flees the country to avoid criminal prosecution that could put a wrinkle in all of this.

David Frum @davidfrum

In the words of an unnamed Trump aide: "Some people seem to think Trump's playing chess, when most of the time the staff are just trying to stop him from eating the pieces."

Congressman Denver Riggleman @RepRiggleman

Either this is stupidity or this is deliberately spreading disinformation

Secretary Raffensperger doesn’t have a brother

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

...The consent decree signed by the “Secretary”, with the consent of Kemp, is perhaps even more poorly negotiated than the deal that John Kerry made with Iran. Now it turns out that Brad R’s brother works for China, and they definitely don’t want “Trump”. So disgusting! #MAGA

Hmmm. Maybe DiaperDon will be locked up in some hell hole prison in Iraq. That would be justice well served.
