This gets better and better... (sigh)
Paraphrased from earlier in the thread: "A call from a convenience store alerted a patrolman to the area where he observed an individual matching the description in the nearby road. Contact with said individual resulted in a violent confrontation where shots were fired."
That appears to be the direction we're going, evidence based.

If you're going to have a weak argument, at least try starting with a strong -- or even accurate -- quote as premise.
As for evidence, there is a small surveillance photo running around this thread...

Your first message does use 'appears' a couple of times. It's also uses"The truth" and "300-lb. thug" and "better and better" and "evidence-based" and there's even a "sigh." It's really a mixed bag. Thug, whatever connotations one is willing to admit, is a subjective evaluation, not 'evidence based.'
And the surveillance video is
it, for evidence? That's all you know about? It's poorly lit and low resolution. Have you analyzed it and positively identified Brown on it? All the reports I've seen were willing to say is 'looks like' Brown.
Why is it then that your argument in the dozen or so posts after this ASSUMES Brown did the robbery? You talk as if he'd had the trial he will never have. You are, in fact, totally on board with the character assassination now happening. There will be no trial, nothing will ever be sworn to, I bet nothing more in evidence than the video ever comes out. But he's now convicted of being a 300-lb. thug, and more people than not will believe that from now on.
And take his killing as justified, of course.
