No, he's a New Dealer as I said. What you're describing is a throwback to the Roosevelt era, an atavism. And that's why I voted for him. It's a case of unfinished business.

It occurs to me that republicans seem to view black, Mexican, LGBT, Muslims and poor people in the same light as Nazi Germans once viewed Jewish people. We must be vigilant that it goes no further.

Rules are not laws, but that's a pretty thin reed. And "everybody does it" is a weak defense.
