Trump didn't do all sorts if things he should have done. He pandered to his bigot base and failed to procure as many WHO approved covid-19 test kits from China and other countries like Merkel did right out of the gate. So he failed to be able to set up a program of contact tracing because there was no way to know who was infected. He played politics and failed to procure PPE from wherever it was available. When other countries were shut down by 95 percent, he was balking at 50 percent. And now this country, with 4% of the world's population, has 25% of the pandemic. You right confederates want politics to be local, just like you did in 1860.
