Apparently she's disappointed as are many formerly hopeful supporters.

Like Rev Al or not, he's a force to be reckoned with and he does have the ear of the black community and the current president, it seems.
Is he a huckster? Could be but then lots of fire eating southern Baptist ministers have a bit of the huckster in them.

President Obama came into office riding the crest of high expectation. Trouble is the voters who elected him never gave him a Congress that shared the hopes and dreams they had attached to the President during his campaign.

Dr. Gene Scott will always be my favorite huckster.

When she's going after the right, she's among my favorites. And it's not that she's got problems with Obama. Any lefty who's really examining his performance is full of disappointment in how his governance has progressed...and how so many of his election promises have been stuck on the back burner, if they're even on any burner anywhere.
It doesn't change my support for his elections. It won't change my support for any Democrat running against any Republican for the top office. Another Republican in the Oval Office is a disaster. We need SCOTUS seats more than anything else.

Speaking of hucksters, the reason Obama is so disappointing was he oversold everything to win. Chickens are coming home to roost. How'd Hillary put it?
That said I think people DO expect too much of him regarding racial roles. Because he's black folks expect to much of... what? something when there's racial tensions.
[rubbing in] Campaign rhetoric aside, he really isn't able to do everything.

Something confidence inspiring, Colin Powell- like, and without the partisan opposition nonsense might have been good.

The only thing he had to do to win in 2008 was not be in the same party as Dubya.

Makes his overselling even more ridiculous, no?
