So utterly out of touch with seniors, who vote in droves. How do these knuckleheads survive?
In today's political climate, a Republican is not going to stray. Worst Republican is better than the best Dem still holds true with them, so guys like Johnson are unconcerned. Twenty five years ago, how many Senators could have survived voting NO on the burn pit legislation? Gingrich revolution still lives.

McConnell gets win on Trump in NATO vote

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/...-in-nato-vote/

Quote:
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) clinched a victory on Wednesday when the Senate — including 48 of the chamber’s 50 Republicans — voted overwhelmingly to admit Finland and Sweden to NATO.

The resolution, which cleared the chamber in a bipartisan 95-1 vote, was a top priority for the Republican leader, who wanted to send a signal about the direction of a GOP that had drifted toward isolationism under former President* Trump.
Gotta love it when, once in a blue moon, Repubes do the right thing AND vote against the Orange Buffoon.

Republicans block cap on insulin costs for millions of patients
GOP senators move to strip a $35 price cap on insulin under private insurance from the Inflation Reduction Act

https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...dget-congress/

Quote:
“Republicans have just gone on the record in favor of expensive insulin,” said Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.). “After years of tough talk about taking on insulin makers, Republicans have once against wilted in the face of heat from Big Pharma."

Some 7 million Americans require insulin daily. A Yale University study found that 14 percent of those insulin users are spending more than 40 percent of their income after food and housing costs on the medicine.
Heartless bastards in the pocket of Big Pharma.

The stage at the recent CPAC Conference in Texas, admitting that they are all domestic terrorists. When they tell you who they are, believe them.

Can't confirm above. Only non-mainstream left outfits have it. I can easily see it fititng into their 'sympathy for the Jan 6 prisoners' line, though....
