Except it does not work. I hooked it up accidentally got some very loud sound because I had the volume up real loud...then nothing..no fm static, no sound,...it is not the speakers nor the fm monitor switch. The fuse is not blown either. Signal processor is off. Grrrr!

Have you popped the case open? There may be additional fuses inside.

Yes I will do that....but I cannot do it until Tuesday since my better half does not know I have a a "new" receiver....plus there are some relays and maybe the signal processor switch is super dirty.
My Maggie sounds awesome though...the Luxman is cranking out the bass.
This is an excellent pre-amp.

Thanks! The vintage game was not totally negative this weekend....one of my Timeframes 700s had a rattle so I took the sock off yesterday discovered that the rubber surround on the woofer had separated from the basket...so I used an 8 inch foam surround I had lying around and did a messy shotgun refoam...
and the speaker sounds great today. Those socks are a PITA. I used superglue on the surrounds but hey no one is ever gonna take the Timeframes apart to see the mess lol.

Cleaning the sound processor switch seems to have done the trick...got two channels of sound coming out of the Lux!

Pair of Realistic "Minimus-1" speakers in great condition: $3.00
18 blues CDs @ $1.00 each as follows:
James Cotton, "Best of the Vanguard Years", Vanguard
John Lee Hooker, from "The Blues Biography" series, San Juan (Dutch)
Howlin' Wolf, from "The Blues Biography" series, San Juan (Dutch)
Howlin' Woolf, from "The Blues Anthology" series, Master Classics
D. Johnson, "Mississippi Delta Blues", National Sack Records
Robert Johnson, "Mojo Workin'", Columbia Legacy
Little Walter, "His Best", Chess
Keb' Mo, "Big Wide Grin", Sony
Paul Oscher, "Down In The Delta", Blues Fidelity
Sonny Terry, "Complete Recordings, 1938 - 1945", Document
Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, "Back Home Blues", Prism Leisure
Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, "An Introduction to....", Fuel
Muddy Waters, from "The Definitive Collection", Chess
Junior Wells, "Live At Theresa's 1975", Delmark
Sonny Boy Williamson, "When The Sun Goes Down (Blue Bird Blues)", BMG
Sonny Boy Williamson, "His Best", Chess
Various Artists, "Blues Masters, Vol. 4: Harmonica Classics", Rhino
Various Artists, "Blues, the Virgin Megamusic" series, Virgin
All had got wet. Most of the inserts were stuck together and most of those were stuck to the label side of the CD. The playing sides all had water spots on them. I tossed out most of the inserts and soaked the discs in soapy water. I then scraped the remains of the inserts off with my fingernail and washed the playing side with a small piece of microfiber cloth. Then I dried them with a microfiber towel. They all look brand new.
