It’s illegal for federal officials to campaign on the job — but Trump staffers keep doing it anyway
Trump staffers have been cited 13 times for violating a law prohibiting government officials from campaigning

'Hatemonger' Tracks How Right-Wing Media Shaped Trump Policy Architect Stephen Miller

https://www.npr.org/2020/08/16/90282...ct-stephen-mil

Quote:

Stephen Miller is the architect of Donald Trump's extreme policies on immigration.

And leaked emails have shown him pushing white-power ideology cloaked in pseudo-science.

So how did an affluent kid from the California suburbs — who liked mobster movies and wore gold chains — get on the path that led him to where he is now?

Jean Guerrero's new book Hatemonger: Stephen Miller, Donald Trump, and the White Nationalist Agenda follows Miller through a conservative media landscape where key figures — including right-wing radio talk-show host Larry Elder; David Horowitz, who founded the David Horowitz Freedom Center; and former Breitbart chief Steve Bannon — propelled the rise of a man who now influences who gets to be an American.

There's something ain't right in that boy's noggin. When he ran for class president at Santa Monica High he ran on a plank that since the school employed janitors why should he have to use the trash cans. Just throw your trash on the ground. Ugly, entitled and snotty beyond belief.

There are more malignant/sociopathic narcissists in this world, and in this country than I realized or understood before I got into the mental health business, bob. This fucking country is lousy with them. And, I fear the way our political system works, there is an even higher load of them in government than in the general population. If we walk it all the way back to the founding philosophies of this country, it's directly related to our worship of rugged individualism.

No rules on the frontier! No community on the frontier! So it was always a magnet for misfits. And here we are with a society with too wide a streak of sociopaths.

We've almost completed watching the first three seasons of Yellowstone on Paramount TV for the past few weeks. No rules, no friends, no community, barely any family.

Pretty much an illustration of your comments here.

Steve Bannon arrested for fraud

https://thehill.com/policy/national-...f-we-build-the

Quote:
Former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon and three others were arrested and charged with defrauding hundreds of thousands of donors who contributed to a fundraising campaign for a private border wall, the U.S. attorney's office for the Southern District of New York said Thursday.

Bannon, Brian Kolfage, Andrew Badolato and Timothy Shea allegedly defrauded donors of the online crowdfunding campaign known as “We Build the Wall,” which raised more than $25 million, the office said. The four defendants are expected to appear in court Thursday afternoon.

They are facing charges including one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. Each charge carries a maximum prison sentence of 20 years.
Awwww.... Poor, dumb Trumpkins, defrauded yet again...
