Straight off of Fox News with maybe a little CNN seasoning. 24/7 fearmongering sells.

Sheesh, give the Obama Derangement Syndrome a rest bud. Ebola isn't going to invade Anchorage and kill your dog and Bristol Palin.

You must be a couple drinks ahead of me. Where did Obama come into the picture?
Looks like they finally got around to cleaning the apartment today. Funny how they wore full hazmat suits and had to be licensed to dispose of the stuff, given it takes direct contact and is so difficult to catch and the guy ain't been there for days and nobody else there is showing any symptoms.

Oh I get around more than that. I even heard Chris Matthews rant. Now he did bring Obama into it.

When you go from "very unlikely it will ever enter the country", to "confident we will stop it in its tracks"?

Please show me a link where he said either one of those things.
This really has nothing to do with the president. I was summarizing statements that came from the CDC.
Is it because he's black? Is that why you're so bent on pinning all this on the POTUS?

Since quarantine's been tossed out the window for PC reasons here we may be more susceptible to an outbreak than we think.
I suspect the big reason we sent the army in to help was not exactly altruistic. There is a very real possibility of a multination government crash in Africa. It would not be pleasant.
Pray for these people. Their lives were hard enough to begin with.

The mechanism of transmission is virtually identical to AIDS. Don't exchange fluids with someone who's infected, and you can't be infected.
I suspect that a lot of the hysteria about Ebola is similar to the hysteria surrounding AIDS in the late 70's. Then we had bigots who wanted to quarantine gay men, now we got bigots who want to quarantine Africans.
