Depends. Mine (my well) has dropped 20" in the last 7 years.

Have at it DJ, here is an example of of your sink hole and that's from 2005. Look at the bright side, don't have to dig for outhouses.

Not my sink hole & really don't know what that has to do with anything. Sink holes happen for a number of reasons.
My well will be kicking ass long after you have turned to dust.
BTW, that looks like a wash. Notice the vegetation in/around it?

"No Choice But To Drill." You better change your farming practices before you can't even grow weeds. - http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...drought-wells/

Methinks you aren't looking at the long term trends DJ.

From the USGS

"Desert Southwest - Increased groundwater pumping to support population growth in south-central Arizona (including the Tucson and Phoenix areas) has resulted in water-level declines of between 300 and 500 feet in much of the area. Land subsidence was first noticed in the 1940s and subsequently as much as 12.5 feet of subsidence has been measured. Additionally, lowering of the water table has resulted in the loss of streamside vegetation."

Another insult. Dude, you have no clue & just want to play politics with this. It's amazing to me that it's California that has made zero effort to protect ground water & you just dismiss this fact.
We love the Monsoon & use the moisture in a productive fashion unlike Kali that just keeps boring more holes and turning a blind eye to an unsustainable future.

Haw, you're a fine one to complain about insults DJ.

Why don't you just troll the LATimes comments section like every other windbag blowhard tea drinker and get it out of your system before trolling here?
