You know it is not top of the line nor three head...but it was still at the thrift when I went back after a few days...I am glad I did. It is not eating tapes like my Nac sometimes does. I have read it is sort of hard to put new belts in.
I thought about you while I picked up some jazz this weekend;
Chick Corea A Spanish Heart
Ella Fitz Gerald Billie Holiday and Carmen Rae Live At Newport.....
I thought that guy from New York city probably likes this stuff lol...I am not a big jazz fan but I try to listen and see what is going on.

Ella, Billy and Carmen - Icons of vocal jazz!
However they left out the sassy SARAH VAUGHAN: she was at Newport.
I now reach for a great album.
Sarah Vaughan: SHARAH VAUGHAN WITH CLIFFORD BROWN
BTW here is a very useful site; it allows you to get a feel of what you might like in terms of the type of jazz.

You have RTR too!
BTW that is a real bargain for the famous Gershwin Songbook.
You did the right thing.

Listening to Leo Kottke, "One Guitar, No Vocals" tonight. It is one of those nights where it's like I have never heard the album before. My wife has gone to work, so I'm playing it at a decent volume, and the AR Connoisseurs are very clear - particularly in the highs and mids. It's nice to discover a great album again.
Regards,
D-Ray
