I love recording with cassette decks: although the format has its weakness at the top freq it adds body to the music which I appreciate.
I have a lot of discontinued radio music programs on cassette tape.
Reminds me I should check out this shop in Bedford-Stuyvesant which usually has a collection - majority black plastic - before the supply dries up.
Time also to play Duke.

I bascially bought this because it was so cheap and silver.....I am only going to play back cassettes that I have. If you see some inexpensive Onkyo single well decks you may want to pick one up. Those are pretty well built and I think sort of fly under the radar....some may say Integra on them.

I have three Yamaha K-1000 cassette decks here , two silver one black. Also a Yamaha K-850 deck in the shop system. For recording I mainly used one of the three RTRs.

They're mixing it up - changing moods and changing instruments. They added a keyboard to a few numbers. Put my kid on lead guitar when the guitarist played keyboard. They really went full bore. After the show, it was like John Lennon in Helter Skelter - "I got blisters on my fingers!"
New CD release is June 28.

D-Ray
