This one was good. So much winning!
It took George W 7 years to crash the best economy which he did in epic fashion bring the whole world with it. The Donald ruined this expansion in 3.5. years. He wins again.

You go girl!
“After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November.”

Tea Pain @TeaPainUSA
FUN FACT: @realDonaldTrump just signed his name on millions of $1200 checks and sent them THROUGH THE U.S. MAIL without a single concern about “fraud.”

Fire, pestilence and a country at war with itself: the Trump presidency is over
https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...ts#maincontent
Quote:
In reality, Donald Trump doesn’t run the government of the United States. He doesn’t manage anything. He doesn’t organize anyone. He doesn’t administer or oversee or supervise. He doesn’t read memos. He hates meetings. He has no patience for briefings. His White House is in perpetual chaos.
His advisers aren’t truth-tellers. They’re toadies, lackeys, sycophants and relatives.
Since moving into the Oval Office in January 2017, Trump hasn’t shown an ounce of interest in governing. He obsesses only about himself.
But it has taken the present set of crises to reveal the depths of his self-absorbed abdication – his utter contempt for his job, his total repudiation of his office.
Trump’s nonfeasance goes far beyond an absence of leadership or inattention to traditional norms and roles. In a time of national trauma, he has relinquished the core duties and responsibilities of the presidency.
He is no longer president. The sooner we stop treating him as if he were, the better.

Qasim Rashid for Congress✔ @QasimRashid
105K dead

Nationwide protests against police brutality
Police firing on peaceful protestors & media
At this critical junction for our nation, Donald Trump is...in a bunker hiding from the public.
This may well be the defining moment of his presidency https://twitter.com/markknoller/stat...91138655956992

While the coward hides instead of addressing the nation like a real president would, Biden is out talking to protesters. Donny is a worthless piece of garbage.

Dan Rather @DanRather
I can imagine no other president in my lifetime failing to address the nation in a prime time speech during a crisis such as this. On the other hand, I cannot imagine another president whose words would be less welcome by so many of his fellow citizens.

'He is a destroyer': how the George Floyd protests left Donald Trump exposed
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...k-lives-matter
Quote:
“He is obviously in way over his head,” said LaTosha Brown, a civil rights activist and co-founder of Black Voters Matter.
“He doesn’t have a clue. He’s a TV personality. He has a cult following that’s centred around this white power broker persona rooted in white supremacy and racism. Wherever he goes, he carries that role and that kind of persona, but ultimately right now with what we’re looking for in this country is real leadership. He is incapable of providing that because that’s not who he is.”
Brown added: “He’s a personality. He’s used to these dog whistles and, instead of trying to uproot division and seeing that the citizens are actually in pain and hurting, he doesn’t have the capacity to address that. He actually adds fuel to the flames and shows how fundamentally intellectually disconnected he is from what is happening and also how ill-prepared he is as a leader to respond to that.”
Trump is not much a child playing with matches as an arsonist hellbent on burning it all down, Brown warned.
“If it would take the destruction of the country for him to protect his position, he is willing to do that. He has shown that he is willing to kill every single thing in this country, including its people, if it protects him.

Tweety doesn't have advisors he has tellers. His people tell him what he should do based on their opinion or what they feel he will be favorable to. Right now he has one group who think he should address the nation and call for calm. Another group thinks he should go on air and promote force to restore law and order. He does not have what it takes to figure it out on his own. He only does what he thinks will benefit him. Right now he is in stay in office mode and he looks at everything through that lens.
