Sounds like a pretty good program.
I hope Officer Slam enjoys his retirement from law enforcement. <sarcasm> I still think he needs to face a jury for an assault beef.

Just another "coddling system". The 'smart' teachers will play along and the kids smile knowing they have everyone beaten, since both in the home and in the school officialdom is striving mightily to give them de facto authority.
From the article: "Where is the justice for students who want to learn?" math teacher Michael Lam asked at a district forum, citing pressure to keep disruptive student in school.

All you did was pull one bit that confirmed your bias out of a balanced story.
But 'bad' kids sure do punch some people's buttons! Careful of the ol' bloodpressure as you think about them 'smiling....'

We would plan PTA meetings weeks in advance - send emails, flyers, etc. with time/date and agenda.
4 or 5 parents would show up.
They don't want to know. It's easier.

So, how many of your own kid's PTA meetings did you go to?

As the most intelligent person here, you seem unable to ascertain there might be a reason we don't have children.
I have learned you are not an amusing curmudgeon, but vindictive and self centered.
Technology is wonderful. One click - poof! You no longer exist.

And then there is all the pulling of hair, wringing of hands, and gnashing of teeth from my fellow liberals over how our students are getting their asses kicked by Korean, and Japanese, and German, and Dutch, and Norwegian, and French, and just about every other first world nation's kids in math and science.
Just tie the hands of American schools when it comes to dealing with little shit miscreants who aren't interested in learning and enjoy fucking up the environment for the kids who do. What's wrong with our system is the fucking Republicans, I hear y'all crying. Sure...to a great extent that is true....and what else is wrong with it is you.
