No love for the Godfather of Grunge? Surprised you don't appreciate the story-telling that goes on in Rust Never Sleeps. Classics like "Thrasher" "Pocahontas" "Powderfinger" and of course the classic "Welfare Mothers."
Regards,
D-Ray

Since I've been touting Kansas City lately, is seemed appropriate to spin:
The Bosses - Count Basie and Big Joe Turner

Sure it is. I have some Vicodin left and it's supposed to rain tonight.
Think I'll dig out some Trower.............

Yep. Santana, Bonnie Raitt, Robert Cray, Los Lobos and a few others. I got the CD at a yard sale this morning for $1.

I decided to play some more in honor of Levon Helm and just kept on playing his stuff. BTW, I thought Bill Clinton, Bob Dylan, and Garth Hudson all had great statements regarding Levon's death. He was a musician's musician.
Levon Helm Electric Dirt 2009
Levon Helm ST 1982
Levon Helm and the RCO Allstars ST 1977
Levon helm Midnight Ramble Sessions Vol.1 2004
Resphighi, Ancient Airs and Dances, Cobos, Lusanne Chamber Orchestra, Telarc, 1992
Since I have relatives in town to entertain, I might be joining Bluestreak with some Vicodin. I'll be going out and eating out and driving around like a tourist rather than merrily ensconced with my computers and stereo.

Come on over. I've only got one left, but you can have it. Sounds like you'll be needing it.
Stop and pick up D-Ray on the way. Tell him to bring the Trower albums..........
