I've got an extra Obama-Biden 2012 bumper sticker laying around here if you buy it.

Well, Faded Glory, my 85 Town Car, went into intensive care yesterday, the tranny now does a combo of slipping / overrevving before shifting / shifting way too hard.

Funny thing is I already have a spare transmission

BUT, I'm not going to change it. I was on the fence about keeping it and putting a bit more cash into it or selling it, it looks like I'll either sell it or worse case pull the plug and send it to car heaven (scrap).

End of an era for me. I learned a lot from that car, drove it for 39 months and 30k+ miles, but it was also bad for my self esteem

Now I'm torn between an old 4 banger S-10 or another Panther.

The new Fusion is very nice. Even nicer IMHO, is the new Mazda 6.

Ford and Mazda have been working together for decades now. It was the only way Ford could produce a decent vehicle.....

Ford has now divested totally from Mazda. According to the reviews I read, this was an advantage in the design of the new Mazda 6 (which has gotten absolutely rave reviews) in that they didn't have to rummage through Ford's parts bin in the design of the 6.
