Was thinking you were just aiming north from 'SF East Bay.' Tahoe makes it a little different. Enjoy!

Thanks and by the way, taking 101 north from SF to Canon Beach (OR) and then to Portland is the most picturesque but also very slow and time consuming. A truly gorgeous road trip that I would love to do again in my Vette convertible but not sure if my knees can take it anymore being a 6 speed.

If you take Hwy 20 back to Bend and go through Redmond to 26 you are welcome to stop by the new place.

I will absolutely take you up on it Marc. Maybe stay overnight in Bend and visit you next day on my way to PDX. Last trip in late December, I drove through Lassen on my way to Tahoe.

"Investigators so far have found firearms, explosives, spoiled food and a trench of human feces at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, federal prosecutors said.

The FBI is expected to take 21 days to complete processing "crime scenes'' at the federal property in Harney County, which includes 24 structures and an outdoor camping area, the prosecutors wrote in court records filed Tuesday.

The FBI Evidence Response Team began its work last Friday. The team initially found "significant amounts'' of human feces in and around the outdoor camping area and "large food stores that are spoiling'' in living quarters on the refuge outside Burns, Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ethan Knight and Geoffrey Barrow wrote." Didn't see this post till now Bob. May not need a chauffeur, but could use a shot gun rider, the gun optional of course. I am definitely planning on going by Marc's new homestead on my next trip to PDX via Tahoe.

Now, Ted Cruz is out in Nevada campaigning for state sovereignty over Federal land, with the endorsement of Michele Fiore, the gun-toting calendar girl bimbo politician.

She's about a 7 or 8. Remove the gun from the picture and she's only a 5.

When she opens her mouth, she's in Palin territory. At best, a two.
