Here are the three decent panoramic videos of the scene. If Brown was attempting to bum rush the cop a second time, please note how close he was to Wilson's truck.
Every single witness to the shooting, including Wilson., is giving their version of what went down. All will be wrong in some aspects, all will be right in some aspects. The key element is to find common corroborated testimony that is deemed truthful, and also supported by forensic evidence when possible.
Besides allowing Brown to lie in the road for four hours, the Ferguson police were not capable of directing EMTs to the scene to declare, The medic who showed up was en route to another call in the complex, and went into the crime scene to declare on their own initiative, helping in some small fashion to add a sense of dignity.

The fact that the ferguson police let brown lie dead in the street and couldn't correctly direct responders to the scene has nothing to do with Brown's intentions during the incident.
As for the importance of the distance he was from the truck....I'm sure the forensic experts will figure that all out.

While the police behaviour won't reveal a single thing about what Brown was thinking or acting, it does speak volumes about how they have been trained and prepared for an emergency situation, and how well developed their people skills, crowd management, and crisis recognition are. By the time St. Louis County and MO State Troopers arrived, The Ferguson PD had fumbled everything.

He was approximately 130 feet from the truck. That puts a little different perspective on things, eh?

Don't know. I'm not a forensic expert. Are you?

No matter how the police were trained or how they screwed up, that still does not have anything to do with what Brown's intention was.

When I can go to the apartment complex, where the truck position and Brown's body position are demarcated, it is easy to take a walking wheel to calculate relative distance.
But it has become rather obvious that you, amongst others, don't take any information in other than a certain viewpoint. It will make some of what happens in the future rather mystifying.

I have not taken either side. I'm simply saying we don't know all the factors. It will take a team of investigators to determine, to the best of their ability, what happened.
I'm willing to wait for that to happen. You seem to have already decided what has happened despite the fact that you are not privy to all the evidence.

That's a big 10-4.
